let me explain this
kinn volume I. is a zine / cd-r
its only in development stages right now but i want to make it an annual thing
a summary of what ive been doing for the past months
tons of short demo's and art that comes with it
collabs with friends and funny moments

here is the first page of it for preview purposes

yeah busted out the ol' casio with the vocal effects pedal. came out pretty sick, i wanna do a band with no drums and have this be the drums.

this song kinda struck me as wow, deerhunter have changed sound for each album in liars esque way. with that being said that would mean this is deerhunters 'drums not dead'. i know bradford has said that hes never seen a bad liars show but im interested to see if deerhunter live up to this stupid title that i made in my mind. this song has a killer tape loop (i think?) section that makes the song for me.

so this song is my summer jam. it is the best to drive around to this during a nice sunny day. the singer of black moth super rainbows sideproject, but almost identical to BMSR.

DEAD! NOISE

So maybe this was the wrong time to start a blog, because I am currently tied up in writing for this new up and coming music site DEAD! NOISE me and Matt started. I assure you that more KINN things will come to follow and this blog will become more personal (not that personal) and ill post demo's and stuff when I record again.

alright i neeeed help please. if anybody has any spare quarter inch cables they would be willing to donate to me it would be greatly appreciated. alot of my cables got fucked on the move out of the practice space and i dont even have enough right now to run all my equipment. actually im open to and donations anybody would be willing to have because im broke right now and i need pedals and stuff :[

So this is the first post of the KINN blog. I'm pretty excited about some of the ideas I have for this. This blog is going to include:

exclusive demo's and songs of the kinn music project
all my artwork when I feel like scanning and posting it
weird audio clips of my every day life, voice memo's and stuff

so ill have much more to say but heres some new stuff for anyone who's interested:

FIRST DEMO
this demo is to show what ive been working on and what ive been working with. I've been running my synth through the iTalk hardware only because its my only form of recording in my room (which explains the shitty sound quality). Ive been running 2 casio's through the micro korg through delay.

only the LD-80 is in this demo, and its really not used that great but i just wanted to show how awesome drums through delay are going to be. ive had some really awesome tribal jams on this thing using conga sounds and delay.
